Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
Mawedly is a general online scheduling tool. By using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.
Nature of the service
Mawedly is a technical scheduling tool only — not a marketplace or intermediary. We do not handle your money; payment happens directly between you and the customer. We do not guarantee service quality or verify practitioners' qualifications, and each provider is responsible for their own data.
Age of use
Using Mawedly is prohibited for anyone under 18. By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 18 years old. If we discover an account belonging to someone under 18, we will delete it immediately along with all its data.
Acceptable use
Mawedly is available to any profession — including regulated ones — but **for scheduling appointments only**. You may not enter, store, or process sensitive data inside the tool, including: medical records, diagnoses, and patient data; court evidence or confidential legal advice; and sensitive financial data (such as card numbers). Any unlawful use, or one that violates others' rights, is also prohibited. Use is entirely at your own responsibility — see the Acceptable Use Policy for details.
Definitions
"Platform" or "Mawedly": the online scheduling tool. "Service provider": anyone who creates a booking link and offers a service. "Customer": anyone who books an appointment via a provider's link. "Booking hold amount": an optional amount a customer pays to hold the appointment, set by the provider.
Service provider responsibilities
Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their data, prices, and appointments; honouring confirmed appointments; verifying any transfer before confirming; the validity of their professional license where their profession requires one (Mawedly does not verify licenses); and managing their own customer relationships, refund terms, and their enforcement.
Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for accurate booking details, transferring the correct booking hold amount if requested, attending confirmed appointments or cancelling in good time, and verifying the provider's qualifications before booking.
Payment & booking hold amount
Mawedly does not handle your money. The provider sets their own payment instructions (account number, QR code, etc.), and the customer pays the provider directly. Mawedly does not guarantee refunds of a booking hold amount — refund terms are set by the provider.
Cancellations
Cancellation and refund terms are set by each provider. Mawedly provides the booking tools but is not a party to the transaction between a provider and their customer, and does not hold or process any funds.
Professional licenses
Some professions require an official license. The provider alone is responsible for the validity of their license, and its data is self-entered. Mawedly does not guarantee the validity of any license or the competence of a provider; verifying the license and qualifications before booking is the customer's responsibility.
Limitation of liability
Mawedly is provided "as is". We are not liable for: a provider or customer missing an appointment, disputes between them, incorrect or lost transfers, service quality, or any loss arising from use of the platform. Our liability is limited to providing the scheduling tool only.
Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the platform belong to Mawedly. You retain the rights to your own content (images, text, prices).
Suspension & termination
We may suspend your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law & dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia, with primary jurisdiction resting with its competent authorities in Riyadh. Because Mawedly is a technical tool used across multiple countries, the mandatory laws in force in the user's country of residence are respected where the law so requires. When a dispute arises, direct amicable resolution is preferred first; if that fails, it is referred to the competent authorities or online arbitration.
