This policy ensures Mawedly is used safely and lawfully, protecting the interests of all users and the security of the platform.
Purpose
Mawedly is a tool for scheduling appointments and managing time. Use it for that original purpose, respecting your local laws and your customers' privacy.
What you should do
Use Mawedly to schedule appointments and manage your time; keep your data accurate and up to date; respect your customers' privacy and don't share their data without permission; and comply with your local laws.
Platform security
You may not: attempt to hack or probe our systems for vulnerabilities; use bots or automated software to send excessive requests; attempt to access other users' data; or reverse-engineer or decompile the app.
Inappropriate content
You may not post unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading content; racist, inciting, or abusive content; pornographic content (any child exploitation will be reported to the authorities immediately); or harassment or threats of violence.
Sensitive data
Regulated professionals (such as doctors and lawyers) are welcome to schedule their appointments, but you may not enter or store the sensitive data itself inside the tool: clinical health data (such as medical records or diagnoses), confidential legal data (such as court evidence), or sensitive financial data (such as credit card numbers). Use Mawedly for appointments only, and keep sensitive records in a specialized system.
Unsolicited communications
You may not send spam or unsolicited promotional messages, or use customer data for marketing outside the platform without their permission.
Unauthorized commercial use
You may not resell or rent your account, use the platform to build a competing product, or impersonate or pretend to be a Mawedly employee.
Consequences of violation
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if you violate this policy, and we may report the matter to the authorities if the violation is criminal.
